Randy Hames is a 50+ year veteran of radio and television, including 30 continuous years as Irv Harrigan on the famed Hudson & Harrigan Show at KILT AM&FM Houston. He has won the Marconi Award for Major Market Air Personality of the Year from the National Association of Broadcasters and the Billboard Magazine Award for Major Market Air Personality of the Year. Plus, he was one of the first inductees into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame. He has hosted morning shows on dozens of radio stations worldwide, including KILT, KYA AM&FM in San Francisco, WBAP and KNUS-FM in Dallas-Fort Worth, the legendary XEROK in El Paso and AFKN in Seoul, South Korea while serving his country in the United States Army (where he won the Army Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service). Randy has also been nationally syndicated on two different shows through the TKO Radio Network, as part of the Classic Top Forty package. He presently serves as a live current events talk show host on Houston’s Salem Radio Network affiliate, AM 1070 The Answer (KNTH AM).
